Santa Barbara Graduate Institute offers degree programs in a choice of delivery formats:
- The Monthly (MOC) format requires students to spend one weekend a month on campus, as well as a six-day on-campus residency in July.
- The Hybrid (PSP) format combines online learning with on-campus courses. Students attend two one-week, on-campus sessions per year (in fall and in spring), and complete the balance of their coursework online.
Monthly Degree Programs
Also known as the low-residence delivery format, this scheduling option permits students to complete much of their work from home and to come together with classmates and instructors for intensive, collaborative weekend sessions (Thursday-Sunday) once a month. Faculty and students travel from throughout the United States to participate in these meaningful learning community experiences. Online forums help students maintain connections with one another between class meetings.
